[ PROJECT SUMMARY ]

With reference to Pablo Picasso’s paintings on glass, documented in 1950, multidisciplinary artist, designer, and contemporary cult icon, Slawn created a series of bespoke spray painted pieces on perspex to go on display across large-scale, public screens around the globe (Accra, Nairobi, Abidjan, Lagos, London, Milan, Seoul, Tokyo, Berlin, and Los Angeles)

Fitzbrien captured each piece during its conception with 6K cinema cameras, directed to give the impression of the artist active within the screen itself, gradually obscuring himself from the view of his audience, and as if to reveal the final piece on the very surface of the screen.
