[ PROJECT SUMMARY ]
‘USB0002’ – a tour by electronic musician Fred Again… took Europe and America by storm across 2025 and 2026, featuring guest acts such as Underworld, The Streets and Daft Punk’s Thomas Bangalter.
The most visually recognisable tour since U2’s ‘Claw’, in large part thanks to Dutch designer Boris Acket’s 70ft artwork that hung above each and every show.
A custom variant of Acket’s ‘Einder’ series, which are constructed from ultra-light fabric, the work is an ever-changing architectural installation that could instantaneously change the space and feel of the show.
Oscillating between static shapes and undulating states that reflected the tone of the show, the work also responded to the heat and movement of the crowd.
Initiated by Fitzbrien Director Joseph Doran and released by Dezeen in collaboration with Boris Acket and Fred Again…, this film was shot across two shows in Brussels and London.
The former, a total run-and-gun operation and the latter a more considered BTS look at the work and the show.
